The Rift

The Rift Gallery is a venue for dynamic visual arts close to its community. Thanks to the quality and variety of its programming, it is recognized as a cultural leader in the Témiscamingue region.

The International Miniature Art Biennial helps promote the organization by hosting an average of 500 pieces of artwork from various artists from twenty countries.

The Rift Gallery offers a multitude of activities for the whole population. It features guided tours of exhibitions, residencies and artists performances, lectures, training, art classes for all ages and musical performances. It also partners with local organizations to provide arts activities throughout the Temiscamingue area.

The annual program celebrates all artistic disciplines and offers a dozen exhibitions of professional artists from the region and outer areas. In order to provide visibility to emerging artists, two new exhibition spaces have been created, the photo gallery showcase and the discovery gallery.

In addition, the Gallery includes a shop where you can buy various products of artisans from Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Outside the building, a terrace of color and flowers help to energize events during the summer season. A mural is created in the spoil each year by local artists.
